Casa Unifamiliare Cascine di Buti (PI) by Ferdinando Meccani
Located on a sloping ground in a higher position than the town, the house is on three levels. Externally, the heavily sloping roof is supported by white concrete columns facing the main façade where the volume of the house, especially in the entrance area, creates a covered park and is clad in Guamo stone with brick reconstructions. The other facades are plaster and bricks. Characteristic is the volume of the chimney that emerges from the roof and is placed in the corner between the two large windows of the living room. Internally, the staircase revolves around a stone body that connects the various rooms from the cellar to the attic. Complete the property the perimeter garden with the inclined stone rampart.
